Officially Andriod 9 is out, which means it is available for download, even if it’s not available for every device.
The Android P Beta has been available for some time now, with few number of smatphone compatible for the upgrade.
But, for now, it is most only Google’s Pixel handsets and the essential cellphone, which are getting the full, final version of Android Pie from today, and even then it’s not arriving with all of the new features available – App Slices are coming later this year.
Update: we’ve added The essential phone to the Android Pie update guidelines. We will hold to list Android Pie-compatible phones (and any differing instruction, as they get announced.
For those devices in the beta program, Google said they will get the Andriod Pie update by the end of the fall (it should be avalaible by the end of October or December 21).
How to download Android 9 Pie
1.These mobile devices are required to get the Andriod Pie Update. The mobile devices includes: Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Google Pixel and Pixel XL. Update are rolled out on day one.
- Android Pie will be updated via OTA(Over The Air), now go to Settings >> System >> System Update to know if the update has been pushed to your device or you may recieve notification that the update has been pushed to your device listed above.
- To install the just received update tap on the install button, note you won’t be able to do this update if you have a low battery. So make sure your smart phone is charged at least 70% before you could proceed.
